The National Anthem of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania (Russian: Государственный гимн Республики Северная Осетия-Алания Ossetian: Цæгат Ирыстоны паддзахадон гимн, Cægat Irystony paddzaxadon gimn), a republic of Russia, was adopted by the Parliament of that republic on 24 November 1994.[1]

On 24 November 1994 the Parliament of North Ossetia-Alania adopted the anthem. Before 1994 North Ossetia-Alania had no national anthem.

English translation
The golden sun gently spreads its rays
[Upon] our ancestors' ancient hearth, generously.
Radiance is emanated under the sky, as if by a jewel,
By Ossetia, as the fortune (farn) of its peoples.
It shines forth from the times of darkness like fire -
Thy root, our Past, our Present, our Future.
Reject not our devotional feast, oh God of Gods!
Look upon us, Uastyrdzhi, praise to thee!'

Honourably look at the future!
May thy life be filled with happiness like rong (ambrosia)!
Carry happiness into the future as a sacred thing!
May thy young ones excel with the sword and the shield!
May thy fortune (farn) be transferred from generation to generation!
May fate protect thee from sickness and woe!
May the honour of the senior ones, the valour of the junior ones
Bear the light in thy life, like the sun!
