The Ohio general elections, 2016 will be held on November 8, 2016 throughout Ohio. The close of registration for electors in the primary election was December 16, 2015, and the primary election will take place on March 15, 2016.[1]

Incumbent Republican Senator Rob Portman is running for re-election to a second term in office.

All of Ohio's 16 seats in the United States House of Representatives are up for election in 2016.

The 16 even-numbered districts out of 33 seats in the Ohio Senate are up for election in 2016. Twelve of these seats are currently held by Republicans, three are held by Democrats, and one seat is vacant. Republicans currently control the chamber with a 23 to 10 majority.
