Visa policy of Belize
Visitors to Belize require a visa unless they come from one of the visa-exempt countries. All visitors are required to have sufficient funds, US$75 per day, and documents required for their next destination.[1]

Visa exemption
Holders of passports (including refugee documents) of the following 97 jurisdictions do not require a visa to visit Belize.[2][3][4][5][6][7]
Holders of passports issued to British Overseas Territories citizens do not require a visa.
Holders of diplomatic or official passports of Cuba, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Peru and Taiwan do not require a visa.
Clearance required
Citizens of the following countries require clearance in addition to visa:[2][7]
Repatriation fee
Citizens of the following countries must pay a repatriation fee of (unless otherwise noted) BZ$1,200 (equivalent of US$600) on arrival:[3]
- Bangladesh
- China – BZ$3,000
- India
- Pakistan
- Sri Lanka
Substitute visa
Permanent residents and holders of multiple entry visa of the European Union member states or the United States} may obtain a visa on arrival for a fee of US$50.[3][7] Passengers with a valid visa issued by a Schengen Member State are visa exempt for a maximum stay of 90 days.[3][7]
