The CD Single Box was a limited edition CD compilation box set by the English rock band Queen released exclusively in Japan by EMI records.[1]
Packaging
The CD's are housed inside a gold embossed flip top box with a 48-page booklet which includes the bio, anthology and song lyrics in English & Japanese.[2]
Contents
The box has 12 x 3" CD single snap-packs (Japanese: tanzaku) which includes all twelve CD singles released between 1973 and 1986 from "Seven Seas Of Rhye" through to "One Vision" complete with their B-sides. All are with snap-pack picture sleeves from the original Vinyl sleeves. The compact disc is 3 inches or (8 cm) were called CD snap-packs, as they could be 'snapped' and folded into a small square rather than being the original 6×3-inch (15×8 cm) length type of packaging when sold.
