Production
Jodi Sta. Maria was originally chosen for the lead role in the "Ahas" segment, until she was replaced by Erich Gonzales.[4] Shake, Rattle & Roll XV is the acting debut of Ken Alfonso, known for covering the song by "With or Without You" and "Salamat" with Venus Raj on YouTube.[5] The film will also be the acting debut of Yael Yuzon who will be playing a rock star in the "Flight 666" segment.[6]
The snake-skin costume for the character of Erich measures 20 feet long and takes about five hours to fully apply the costume's prosthetics onto her.[7] Almost the whole segment of "Flight 666" was shot on board a retired Philippine Airlines Airbus A330 parked at Villamor Airbase.[8] Lovi Poe, the leading actress of the segment, stated that they filmed it while the plane was flying.[9] Filming of "Ulam" wrapped on November 1, 2014.[10]
