Samir Memišević (born 13 August 1993) is a Bosnian professional footballer who plays for Eredivisie club FC Groningen.
Club career
Born in Tuzla, Memišević played with NK Slaven Živinice before arriving to FK Sloboda Tuzla in summer 2012.[1] Sloboda was playing then in the First League of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina which is one of the two leagues forming the Bosnian second tier. During the winter-break he moved as talented Bosnian younster to Serbia by joining FK Partizan's satellite team FK Teleoptik. He stayed in Serbia a year and a half playing for Serbian second tier clubs, Teleoptik and FK Bežanija, all that time. In summer 2014 he returned to Bosnia by joining Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina side FK Radnik Bijeljina.[2]
On 1 August 2016, he signed a 3-year contract with FC Groningen.
International career
On May 16, 2016, Memišević made a debut for Bosnia and Herzegovina national team in a friendly match against Spain.[1]
