Rock Camp, Ohio

Rock Camp is an unincorporated community in northeastern Perry Township, Lawrence County, Ohio, United States.[1] Although it is unincorporated, it has a post office, with the ZIP code of 45675.[2] It is the former residence of baseball coaching legend Frank "Homer" Newman. While living in Rock Camp, Newman also made famous the "Penny Ante" style of Poker and the Williams Hill variety of peaches. Rock Camp is also the former home of such famous historical figures as professional wrestler Tom "The Marine Assassin" Jarvis, blacktop specialist Jon Hitchcock, squirrel hunting legend John Donald Newman, and OHSAA 1966 basketball scoring champion and gambling phenom, Charles Wetzel "Pistol Pete" Newman.
