Real Housewives: The Game was a social networking game based on The Real Housewives franchise. Released by Bravo in July 2012, the game's characters were the cast from the television reality series The Real Housewives of New York City. Every week after a new episode aired, a new story became available on the game.^[1] The game was discontinued in October 2012.

Gameplay

Every week after a new episode, new goals and games were made available to players. In the game, players would earn style points, buzz, bliss and attitude. They could then use these items to complete goals, such as gossiping about other Housewives and getting style advice. If players insult or befriend one of the Housewives, it would carry on through the game generating new story lines and more drama.^[2]

Characters

Each player would get to create his or her own character and choose its look, style and name. Six females populated the game: Ramona, Luann , Sonja, Aviva, Carole and Heather. Blaine is the only male.

Andy Cohen makes a cameo appearance at the beginning of the game.

Games

• Tutorial: You have chosen to become a Real Housewife after running into Andy Cohen at the club and accidentally flirting with Lu-Ann's boyfriend.
• It's Working Out: Heather would invite you for a jog to get to know you. The way you dress and act would determine the outcome of your relationship. Meanwhile, you would have the chance to interrupt Ramona's photo shoot to get more Buzz.
• A New New York (5 parts based on an episode): It's time for the girls to get to know you better. You would go to lunch with Sonja, Lu-Ann and Aviva but afterward, you would spill wine on yourself before Sonja arrives. You would rush home to change and by the time you get back Sonja and the other girls are gone. This would cause tension.
• Hot For Heather: Heather would be throwing a yacht party and would want you to invite some guests. You would end up inviting too many people. The way you would handle this would affect your relationships. You then would need to kick Sonja out at Heather's request, creating much drama.
• Cool But Casual: Carole would invite you to her "casual boyfriends" party.
• Don't Say It Mean: Aviva would invite you out to dinner and Blaine would tell you to ask around about the fact that Aviva's ex slept with some of the other girls, which upsets Aviva. She then would invite you to a yoga class to smooth things over. The way you handle yourself would determine the outcome.
