Piece - Kanojo no Kioku (Piece~彼女の記憶~) is a Japanese shōjo manga series written and illustrated by Hinako Ashihara. It is published in French by Kana.[1] It is adapted into a television drama series[2] that premiered on 6 October 2012[3] and ended on December 29, 2012.

Plot

After learning that her former high school classmate Haruka Origuchi has died from an illness, Mizuho Suga meets her other classmate Hikaru Narumi at the funeral. Back in their high school days, Hikaru was famous for being a playboy, and they both had to keep their relationship a secret.

As of July 31, 2011, volume 6 has sold 41,935 copies.[4] Volume 7 has sold 43,668 copies as of January 1, 2012.[5] As of July 1, 2012, volume 8 has sold 45,292 copies.[6] As of January 6, 2013 volume 9 of the series had sold 68,456 copies.[7]

The series was awarded the 58th Shogakukan Manga Award in the Girls' Category.[8]
