Monterio, California

Not to be confused with Monte Rio, California.

Monterio is a former settlement in Kern County, California.^[1] It was located 20 miles (32 km) west-northwest of Rosamond.^[1]

A post office operated at Monterio from 1895 to 1899.^[1]
