Indirect presidential elections were held in Haiti on 14 February 2016 due to delays in holding second round of the 2015–16 elections and the expiration of the term of previous president Michel Martelly.[1] Jocelerme Privert of Inite was elected as provisional President to serve until the 2016–17 elections.
