Gaven is a suburb in City of Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.[2]
It is immediately north of Nerang.[3] The eastern boundary of the suburb is marked by the Pacific Highway.
According to the 2011 census it had a population of 1,583.[1]
It was named after a prominent pioneer family involved in politics and was once a part of the Shire of Albert.[3][4]
