Gaëlle Thalmann (born 18 January 1986) is a Swiss football goalkeeper, currently playing for Serie A side AGSM Verona.[2]
She previously played in the Serie A for Fiorentina and Torres Calcio Femminile,[3] the Bundesliga sides MSV Duisburg, Lokomotive Leipzig, 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam and Hamburger SV,[4] as well as for Rot-Schwarz Thun, FFC Zuchwil 05, SC LUwin.ch and Grasshopper Club in the Nationalliga.
She is a member of the Swiss national team.[5] Stenia Michel took over as Switzerland's first-choice goalkeeper in the run up to the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup, when Thalmann suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury.[6]
