Erik González (born August 31, 1991) is a Dominican professional baseball shortstop for the Cleveland Indians of Major League Baseball (MLB).
After the 2013 season, MiLB.com named González the best third baseman in the Indians minor league system.[1] He was added to the Indians' 40-man roster following the season.[2]
González began the 2016 season with the Columbus Clippers of the Class AAA International League, and appeared in the Triple-A All-Star Game. He was promoted to the major leagues on July 14, 2016.[3]
