Boiceville, New York
Boiceville is a community in the Ulster County, New York, USA.[1][2] Boiceville is located at the intersection of New York State Route 28 and New York State Route 28A, within Catskill State Park and the Town of Olive.
The Emile Brunel Studio and Sculpture Garden was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.[3]
Education
Onteora Central School District operates the public schools in Boiceville, including Onteora High School, Onteora Middle School, and Bennett Elementary School.
Main attractions
The community is well known across the United States for their pumpkins, which attract a large number of visitors in the autumn months. However, in recent years, an invasion of chipmunks has impacted harvests, reducing total volumes available.
A recent solution has been found in Roger, a scarecrow of human like semblances that emits man-like sounds at low frequencies that scare away rodents.
