Blattellidae is a family of the order Blattodea (cockroaches). This family contains many of the smaller common household pest cockroaches, among others. They are sometimes called wood cockroaches.[6] A few of the species include:
- German cockroach Blattella germanica
- Asian cockroach Blattella asahinai
- Brown-banded cockroach Supella longipalpa
- Pennsylvania woods cockroach Parcoblatta pennsylvanica
- Virginia wood cockroach Parcoblatta virginica
- Fulvous wood cockroach Parcoblatta fulvescens
- Small yellow cockroach Cariblatta lutea
