Ayaz Ahmed is an Indian actor. He is known for playing the role of a homosexual guy in season one of MTV's "Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan". He's currently seen in &TV's Santoshi Maa (TV series).
Early life
Ahmed was born and brought up in Howrah, West Bengal, India. He studied at St. Thomas Church School, and later pursued Law from Calcutta University, following his father's footsteps.[1]
Career
Ahmed made his debut as a contestant in the popular reality show MTV Roadies 5.[1][2] After his stint in Roadies, he played a small role in Kitani Mohabbat Hai.[3] Later he was seen in UTV Bindass show Meri Toh Lag Gayi... Naukri.[4] He has done roles in episodic shows Crime Patrol: Dastak as a young cop Badri[5] and Channel V India's show Gumrah.[6] He played a gangster Raghu in Do Dil Ek Jaan. After Do Dil Ek Jaan, he was again cast opposite Nikita Sharma in an episode of UTV Bindass's Yeh Hai Aashiqui.[7] He also played the role of a young photographer in an episode of Star Plus' crime/thriller show Ishq Kills.[8] Ayaz has also shot for an experimental psychological thriller film Moods Of Crime.[9] Recently he has been seen as Cabir on Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan on MTV India, a character who is dealing with his homosexuality.
