ATA Airlines (Persian: هواپیمایی آتا) is an Iranian airline based in Tabriz International Airport at Tabriz. It operates scheduled domestic services and international services in the Middle East, as well as charter services including Europe.
History
The airline was established on 17 December 2008 and started scheduled operations in 2010 with services for its domestic routes. Its first flight was on 31 December 2009 from Tabriz to Mashhad. Now it serves many international destinations such as Istanbul and Tbilisi. In June 2016 ATA started a Tabriz–Baku–Tehran route, their first to the Republic of Azerbaijan.
