The 1st Indonesian Television Awards honored the popular in Indonesian television programming and individual from July 2015 until July 2016, as chosen by the Roy Morgan Research. The ceremony was held on September 15, 2016, at the Studio 4 RCTI in Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta and was broadcast in the Indonesia by RCTI and MNCTV. Ananda Omesh, Deddy Corbuzier and Gisella Anastasia were hosting for the ceremony awards.
The edition of ceremony was presenting for 12 categories and including Special Awards by Roy Morgan Research team, based on voting by public through Facebook, Twitter and website for Indonesian Television Awards.com.[1] The ceremony awards also held for foreign musician and artist, such as Malaysian Siti Nurhaliza, Alan Walker, and South Korean actor Jin Goo.[2]
Presenter Sule was biggest winner in the night of ceremony, for taking home double awards.[3]
