Zav Airways

Zav Airways is an air charter company based in Kolkata, India. It proposes to launch low cost regional scheduled services,^[1] for which it received a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) in June 2014.^[2] Zav Airways plans to start scheduled air services from its base in Kolkata to Eastern and North-eastern Indian cities like Aizawl, Bhubaneswar, Ranchi, and Patna with L-410 aircraft.

Zav Airways own high performance 412 Bell helicopters that will be used for the Air Taxi Service. These are twin-engine choppers that can easily land on any airport or even a simple hard surface. The objective of the company is to provide affordable private air travel services to businessmen and tourists. It will be the first company to start air taxi services in north-eastern states of India. It promises to offer some obvious advantages over commercial airlines such as on-demand scheduling, no unwanted delays, minimum travel time and more. Its aircraft and choppers are equipped with the latest security equipment to ensure maximum security to the travelers.^[3]

Sector Services: In this category of services, Zav Airways would be offering flights between Kolkata, Agartalla, Aizwal, Bagdogra, Bhubneshwar, Dimapur, Gaya, Guwahati, Imphal, Jamshedpur, Jorhat, Patna, Portblair, Raipur, Ranchi, Rourkela, Shillong, Silchar and Tejpur.
