Yasuhiro Morinaga (森永 泰弘 Morinaga Yasuhiro, born August 1, 1980 in Tokyo) is a sound designer, music director and the sound archivist.

Overview

Yasuhiro Morinaga conducts field-recording documenting rituals, religious chants and the sonic environment around the world. Through the use of recording materials, he creates music for dance, film and the installation. Currently he is engaged in field-recording around the rural places of Southeast Asia.

Morinaga has been served as an artistic director for the ethnographic media production and publishing company, CONCRETE.
