WXIT UAV is a Chinese UAV developed by Wuxi Institute of Technology (无锡职业技术学院) and has entered service in China for aerial cinematography and photography missions.

Hexacopter

WXIT hexacopter is developed by undergraduate students of WXIT, and it is mainly intended for aerial cinematography and photography missions. The hexacopter is in conventional layout with a pair of skids as landing gear, and the payload is slung between the two skids. WXIT hexacopter made its public debut in December 2012 when its existence was revealed at the First Jiangsu College Students Science and Technology Innovation and Startup Achievement/Project Exhibition (江苏省第一届大学生科技创新创业成果/项目交流会) held in Nanjing International Exhibition Center (南京国际展览中心) in Nanjing. Since then, the UAV has been contracted by local business to perform aerial cinematography and photography missions.[1]
