Vilayat Cherkessia is a vilayat (province) of the Caucasus Emirate, made up of Adygea and the southern part of the Krasnodar Krai[1] created in 2007.[2] The group came to light during the 2014 Sochi Olympics, due to the threat of attacks.[3] However, no military operations were reported from the group and even since its creation in 2007 no military operations by the group have been carried out.
