VersaLogic is a privately held corporation located in Tigard, Oregon, USA that designs and manufactures board-level products for embedded systems.[1] The company's products are used by OEMs in a wide range of markets including medical, transportation, security, instrumentation,[2][3] robotics, avionics, and unmanned vehicles.
History
VersaLogic was founded in 1976 in Eugene, Oregon, by Len Crane and Gary Harris.[4] The company consolidated operation in 2010 to the western edge of Eugene into the former headquarters of Obie Media along 11th Avenue.[4] At that time, the privately held VersaLogic had grown to 70 employees.[4] In November 2012, the company announced it would relocate to the Portland metropolitan area where it had opened a research office in 2010 in Tigard.[5][6] The new headquarters opened in 2013 in Tualatin.[5][6][7]
Operations
The company's headquarters are located in the Pacific Corporate Center within the Portland metropolitan area. VersaLogic is registered to the ISO 9001:2008 standard.[8]
Products
VersaLogic designs and manufactures embedded computer products in several standards-based form factors including EBX, EPIC, PC/104,[9] SUMIT, and COM Express. In 2012, the company provided computer components for torpedoes to the United States military.[10][11] VersaLogic components have been used in UAVs.[12]
