Vaadapalli is a village in East Godavari District of the state of Andhra Pradesh, India.[1] It is situated on the banks of Godavari River. Village is locally famous for lord Venkateswara temple called as "Vadapalli Venkanna Swami".

Village

Vaadapalli also called Konaseema Tirupati can be reached by road from Ravulapalem town in East Godavari district. It is located 11 km away from Ravulapalem RTC bus station. Local autos are available to reach the temple. Road Side direction boards will be available all the way from Ravulapalem RTC bus station.

Venkanna swamy temple

Village is famous for Vaadapalli Venkanna Swamy Temple. It is a historic temple which was developed later in a wide spacious land. Roof around the temple is filled with Govindanamaalu to help disciples recite them while they perform pradakshina's. Mela(fair) stalls are arranged from half kilometer away from the temple on every saturday.

Religious belief

Disciples believe that Venkanna Swamy (Lord Venkateswara) will be pleased and grants wishes if they perform 11 pradakshina's(circumbulation) continuously on 7 saturday's. Hence a lot of crowd is expected on every saturday.
