Tsugaru-Yunosawa Station (津軽湯の沢駅 Tsugaru-Yunosawa eki) is a railway station on the JR East northern Ōu Main Line located in the city of Hirakawa, Aomori Prefecture Japan. It is 422.4 rail kilometers from the southern terminus of the Ōu Main Line at Fukushima Station.

History

Tsugaru-Yunosawa Station was opened on June 1, 1949 as a station on the Japan National Railways (JNR). It has been unattended since October 1, 1971. With the privatization of the JNR on April 1, 1987, it came under the operational control of JR East.

Station layout

Tsugaru-Yunosawa Station has two opposed side platforms, connected to the small station building by an underpass. The tracks are located on a hillside, with station building located at a lower level. The station is located in a rural area with few houses, but is near the Yunosawa Onsen (hot spring) resorts.
