Tosu Station (鳥栖駅 Tosu-eki) is a railway station in Tosu, Saga, Japan, operated by the Kyushu Railway Company (JR Kyushu). It forms the junction between the Kagoshima Main Line and the Nagasaki Main Line.
Station layout
It is an above ground station with six tracks, three island platforms and two underground passageways connecting them with the station building. The current station building was built in March, 1911 and is the second iteration of Tosu Station. The iron bars which support the platform roofs were manufactured in the Meiji era. It has a "Midori no Madoguchi" staffed ticket office and an automatic ticket machine.

History
- December 11, 1889 - Kyushu Railway opens track between Hakata Station and Chitose Station. Tosu Station is one of the first train stations in Kyūshū.
- August 20, 1891 - Track from Tosu Station to Saga Station opens.
- July 1, 1907 - Railways nationalize and the station becomes part of Japanese Government Railways.
- August 11, 1945 - A large-scale air raid destroys the station, though the main building is saved.
- April 1, 1987 - Railways privatize and the station is inherited by JR Kyushu and JR Freight.
- March 18, 2006 - JR Freight discontinues use of the station. Tosu Freight Terminal opens.
