Torkaman County (Persian: شهرستان ترکمن), formerly Bandar Torkaman County (Persian: شهرستان بندر ترکمن), is a county in Golestan Province in Iran. The capital of the county is Bandar Torkaman. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 122,218, in 25,295 families.[1] The county consists of two districts: Central District and Gomishan District. The county has three cities: Bandar Torkaman, Gomishan, and Siminshahr.
