Timocratica butyrota is a moth in the Depressariidae family. It was described by Meyrick in 1929. It is found in Colombia, Costa Rica, Panama and Peru.[1]

The wingspan is 9-13 mm for males and 14-17 mm for females. The ground colour of the forewings is white. The underside is golden-yellow, fuscous or white along the apex and termen. The hindwings are cream-yellow.[2]
