Tierra Rejada Park is a 150-acre park located on Simi Valley’s western boundary with Moorpark.[1][2][3] There are several trails leaving from the park, for instance to Moorpark, or to Mount McCoy, Oak Canyon, Coyote Hills Park, and beyond to Long Canyon, the larger Wood Ranch Open Space, and other open-space nature areas in southwestern Simi Valley. The Tierra Rejada Trailhead is adjacent to the Arroyo Simi and the city is therefore planning trailheads from the park to the new Greenway along the creek.[4] It offers panoramic views of the Simi Valley, eastern Moorpark, and the Simi Hills and Santa Susana Mountains.
To get here, take Highway 118 to the Madera Road exit in Simi Valley, CA. Drive south on Madera Rd. for one mile to its intersection with Tierra Rejada Road, then turn right onto Tierra Rejada Rd. and follow for a half mile to its intersection with Stargaze Place.
