Simultaneous attacks planned in Albania, Kosovo and Macedonia were thwarted in November 2016. 18 people were arrested.[1]The suspects, who were planning “synchronized terror attacks,” were rounded up over the past 10 days in Albania, Kosovo and Macedonia. The suspects were receiving orders from Islamic State member Lavdrim Muhaxheri. Among the planned targets included the Israeli national football team and their supporters during and Albania-Israel match.[2]
