History

The company was founded in 2012 by Dustin Webber and Jen Andre. In June 2015, Brian M. Ahern was named as Chairman and CEO.[1]

In April 2016, the company secured $15.3 million in Series B funding,[2][3][4] led by Scale Venture Partners, with participation from Accomplice and .406 Ventures for a total investment of more than $26 million.[5]

Technology

The Threat Stack Cloud Security Platform™ (CSP)[6][7][8] provides continuous security monitoring in cloud environments where network-based controls cannot be deployed. It is a platform-independent solution intended for companies of all sizes operating on premise or in public, private, or hybrid cloud environments. Threat Stack eliminates the need for multiple point solutions, and gives users a single view into integrated workload insights, infrastructure monitoring, vulnerability management, threat intelligence, and compliance reporting.
