The Pedrito Martinez Group is a studio album by the Pedrito Martinez Group. It was released on October 7, 2013 through Motéma Music.[2] Personnel on the recording include Martinez on lead vocals and percussion, Ariacne Trujillo on piano and lead vocals, Álvaro Benavides on electric bass, and Jhair Sal on percussion.[1] Guest musicians include Wynton Marsalis on trumpet, John Scofield on guitar, Steve Gadd on drums, Gary Schreiner on harmonica, Marc Quiñones on timbales, and Matt Dillon contributing spoken word.[1]

AllAboutJazz gave the album a glowing review, opining that the release put the band "at the forefront of the 'Latin Jazz Revolution.'"[1] AllAboutJazz wrote that "the musicians play the music with such authority and confidence that the music becomes a unique blend of authenticity and creativity, tradition and innovation."[1] In both 2013 and 2014 it peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard Jazz Albums chart, also reaching No. 3 on the Top World Music Albums chart both years as well.[2][3] The album was nominated for Best Latin Jazz Album at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards in 2015.[4]
