The Master Skier
The Master Skier became The Master Skier Annual Ski Journal in 2009.[1] The original magazine was established in 1987.[1] The magazine is headquartered in Escanaba, Michigan.[2]
Features
The publication is the official ski journal of the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association, U.S. Ski Team, and the American Cross Country Skiers Association. It is published annually in mid-October.
The Ski Journal of the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Association is the largest circulation Nordic publication with over 50,000 readers.
With special emphasis on our well-written technique and race articles, The Ski Journal, now in its 29th year, is a must read for everyone in Nordic skiing, and is the only media that reaches all members of Nordic skiing’s two largest organizations: the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Association, and the American Cross Country Skiers Association.
The Ski Journal is distributed to its subscribers, over 410 retailers, 32 cross-country ski clubs, and 20 Nordic teams. It is also distributed at World Cup races in North America.
Its writers include current and former Olympic and World Champion skiers.
