The Battle is the first studio album by the band project Allen-Lande, a collaboration between two acclaimed heavy metal vocalists: Russell Allen of Symphony X and Jørn Lande of Masterplan. It was released on 19 September 2005. It was performed, composed and arranged by Swedish guitarist, Magnus Karlsson (Starbreaker, Last Tribe). The drummer was Jaime Salazar (Last Tribe).[3]
The album has a variety of hard rock and heavy metal songs with a progressive metal touch.
The album's artwork was created by the noted artist Rodney Matthews.
