The 1st constituency of Territoire-de-Belfort is a French legislative constituency in the Territoire-de-Belfort département.

Description

The 1st constituency of Territoire-de-Belfort includes the south eastern portion of the department. It includes the centre and east of Belfort itself as well as the more rural areas towards the eastern border with Switzerland.

Despite being won by the Socialist Party in both 1988 and 1997 the seat has been in the hands of the UMP since 2002 and was retained with a majority of nearly 4,000 votes at the 2012 election.
