Telephone numbers in Zimbabwe

The default length for telephone numbers in Zimbabwe (minus town/city code) is 3 to 6 digits, usually 6. Cellular phones have a standard of 11 digits. Local numbers are dialled without the area code. Numbers in neighbouring areas require a 0 prefix, then the area code and number. For example, dialling a Bulawayo number from Harare would be 09 123 456
