Tanya Spears is a fictional character, a superhero appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. She was first introduced in World’s Finest #23 (July 2014) as “the world’s smartest seventeen year old” and an intern for Starr Industries, which was run by the former Power Girl.
Fictional character biography
Power Girl and The Huntress had a series called Worlds' Finest which depicted their adventures as Earth 2 natives stranded on Earth 0. That series introduced Tanya Spears, a young genius and an intern of Power Girl's in her civilian identity. She proved instrumental in helping Power Girl and Huntress return home. In the same series however, Tanya lost her mother, who was murdered during an attack from supervillains from the world of Apokolips. Additionally, in the process of sending the old Power Girl and The Huntress back, she gained super strength and invulnerability.
Powers and Abilities
Power Girl is blessed with superhuman strength and invulnerability. On top of this she has also gained the ability to increase her size to an unknown level. It is yet to be revealed the extent of these size changing abilities but she can grow as tall as a building. It is implied by Manchester that she has many other powers that she does not know of.
