Tang Yixin

Tang Yixin, also known as Tina Tang, is a Chinese actress.

Career

Tang began her career when she was picked by Zheng Xiaolong to play the role of Consort Qin in The Legend of Zhen Huan.

She gained more recognition with well-received supporting turns in the television series Legend of Lu Zhen and Noble Bride: Regretless Love, which achieved the highest and second highest ratings for the first half of 2013. The same year, she had a minor role in Stephen Chow's Journey to the West: Conquering the Demons.

In 2014, she starred in Refueling Lover and Happy Lover, both of which reached number one in ratings. She also played a minor role in Ann Hui's The Golden Era.

In 2015, Tang played the leading role alongside William Chan in Hunan TV's specially designated idol romance drama The Love of Happiness, directed by famed Taiwanese director Liu Junjie. She also starred in the coming-of-age romantic drama film Les Aventures d'Anthony. The same year, she was cast in the republic period drama Tai-chi Master: The Ultimate Gateway alongside Kevin Cheng.

In 2016, Tang starred in the xianxia romantic drama Noble Aspirations, and reunited with William Chan in the romantic-comedy film I Love That Crazy Little Thing. For the latter, Tang sacrificed her image and appearance to portray her role realistically.

Tang was cast in more roles in 2016: She was cast as Guo Zhao in The Advisors' Alliance; as well as the television series Once Loved You Distressed Forever, adapted from the novel of the same name written by Zi You Ji Guang, alongside Korean actor Jang Dong-gun. In November, she was announced as the female lead Harjol in in palace drama Rule the World, adapted from Li Xin’s novel Unmatched In This World. The series stars Raymond Lam as the titular Emperor.
