Taming (shield)

Taming is a shield of Moro people, Philippines. It is made of tightly woven rattan. Its origin is unsure: various scholars suggest it comes from Maranaos, Chinese, Moluccan, or Spanish.[1] In Indonesian language, Tameng is a general term for shield.
