Tabriz County (Persian: شهرستان تبریز; Azerbaijani: تبریز شهرستانی) is a county in East Azerbaijan Province in Iran. The capital of the county is Tabriz. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 1,557,241, in 423,775 families.[1] The county is subdivided into two districts: the Central District and Khosrowshahr District. The county has five cities: Tabriz, Basmenj, Sardrud, Malek Kian, and Khosrowshahr.
