The Taber Police Service is the municipal police force for the Town of Taber, Alberta. Dr. Graham Abela is the current Chief of Police. In September 2010, it became the only town in Alberta to have its own police service, when the Town of Lacombe incorporated as a city. The force was established in 1904.
