Sur Samundi

Sur Samundi (Sindhi: سرسامونڊي ‎) is the fifth of 30 Surs (Chapters) of Shah Jo Risalo. As the name indicates, this Sur treats of Mariners, starting on a voyage, leaving friends and relations behind, of separation, of love etc. The contents of this Sur, section by section, are described below:

Setting on voyage- Ships, sails, anchors and ports- Separation from relations left behind.
Preparation of voyagers during Monsoon.
Farewell to them by their beloved.
