Sultan Mudzaffar Shah III is the first Son of Sharif Yang Di Pertuan Tuanku Abu Bakar Shah ibni Maulana Sultan Muhiyuddin Iskandar Mansor Shah. He replaced his Father who was killed by Sukhothai & British sponsored/compromised by Paduka Seri Sultan Ahmad Tajuddin Halim Who was the Raja Laksamana of Kedah. Sultan Mudzaffar Shah III's death in 1838, was replaced by his 1st son Sultan Syed Alang Alauddin Shah also known as Panglima Bukit Gantang who was the Governor of Songkhla at the time of his father's death. In 1862 Sultan Syed Alang Alauddin Shah died and was replaced by his eldest son Sultan Syed Long Jaafar Mua'azam Shah called Syed Long Jaafar.In March 19, 1876 Sultan Syed Long Jaafar himself was brutally tortured and murdererd by the conspiracy of British & Sukhothai and Paduka Seri Sultan Ahmad Tajuddin Mukkaram . Sultan Syed Long Jaafar Mua'azzam Shah is the last sultan of Kedah Pasai Ma. After his death, The British and Sukhothai appointed the Sultan Abdul Hamid Halim Shah who married as a 2nd wife,Nerng@ Che Manjalara, the daughter of Chulalongkorn, King of Thailand. Sultan Abdul Hamid Halim Shah is the 1st Sultan of Modern Kedah Darul Aman. By this 2nd wife, Malaysia first Prime Minister that is Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al Haj was born and during his terms in office as the Prime Minister, He has destroyed all of historical proof the old Sultanate of Kedah such as Forts,Arches, old building of heritage and documents pertaining to the Old history of Kedah. This was the 2nd success of the destroying the evidence of any history of the Old Kedah Sultanate. Earlier before this in the 1830s after the Thai massive Attack on Kedah on 12 November 1821, Colonel James Low was ordered to rewrite another history of Kedah support by Raja Laksamana Paduka Seri Sultan Ahmad Tajuddin Halim Shah who also collaborate in the rewriting of the history to of Kedah Annals, Royal Genealogy of the Sultanate and including the famous Hikayat Hang Tuah. .
