Steve Lebsock is a Democrat who was elected in 2012 to represent Colorado House District 34, which includes all of Northglenn and Federal Heights, a significant portion of Thornton and one precinct in unincorporated Adams County.[1] Prior to a career in politics, Lebsock served in the United States Marines.[2] Lebsock served on Thornton City Council from November 2003 to November 2011. The National Rifle Association gives Lebsock a score of 71%, among the highest of House Democrats. The American Civil Liberties Union gave Lebsock a score of 60% in 2015,[3] and a 100% score in 2013 and 2014.[4][5] Conservation Colorado,[6] Women's Lobby of Colorado,[7] and NARAL Pro-Choice Colorado,[8] gave him a score of 100% in 2015. Finally, Colorado Voters for Animals rated Lebsock an A+++.[9]
