Stefanía Maggiolini (born October 15, 1986) is an Uruguayan footballer who currently plays as a defensive midfielder for SPC Llanos de Olivenza, in the Spanish league.

She previously played for Club Nacional, Rampla Juniors and CA River Plate in Montevideo and UE L'Estartit in Spain. As a member of the Uruguay national team, she played 20 games in U19, U20, First team and 2007 Pan American Games. [1]

Early career

Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, Maggiolini started her career with Club Nacional de Football. In 2003 she was the top scorer making 17 goals in the first division with only 14 years. [2]

She is a member of the Uruguay national team At the age of 15 Maggiolini participated in the Uruguay women's national football, being captain in the U19 and U20 teams.[3]

In the end of the Superliga, Estartit obtained mixed results (they ended up first in the "second" minileague) and qualified for the Copa de la Reina. The team, though, was disqualified in the first leg against UD Levante.
