St. Anne's High School, Orlem
St Anne's High School and Junior College is a school in Orlem, Malad, Mumbai, India, under the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Bombay.
History
St Anne's High School was established in 1916. It is attached to Our Lady of Lourdes Church at Orlem. Initially founded as a school for boys, it is now a co-educational institution. In the early 1990s, during the tenure of Principal Fr. (Dr.) Clifton Lobo, much of the school's structure was redeveloped and redesigned. He had a closed-circuit television system installed in every classroom. St Anne's was the first in Mumbai to have such a system. School started taking girls after 1973 and now it is a co-educational school.The school has also been equipped with SmartBoards and CCTV surveillance The New School building was built by Fr Frank Naronha and the Extension wing was built by Fr Octavian Dias

Sports and other activities
The school is notable for some hockey and football players.The school has produced a national level football player Mr. Ryan D'souza who represented India in the 29th Asian Youth Championships in the year 1995 and has also won many football tournaments like the Aga Khan Trophy. It has also produced national level field hockey players like Gavin Ferreira, Jude Menezes and Adrian D'Souza who have represented India in the 1996, 2000 and 2004 Summer Olympics respectively along with the Commonwealth Games. The young Alden D'souza played for the Maratha Warriors in PHL (Premier Hockey League) 2008. It also has a Junior College with studies up to Class XII (for Science and Commerce streams). There is a football field and a basketball court on the school premises.
