Sonderlust is Kishi Bashi's third studio album, released on September 16, 2016. The album was produced by Chris Taylor and Kishi Bashi. It was recorded in multiple locations, including Poolhaus Studios in Athens, Georgia and Terrible Studios in Los Angeles, California. It was mixed by Patrick Dillet at Reservoir Studios in New York City.[1]
The album features Bram Inscore on bass, Matt Chamberlain playing drums and percussion and guest artists, including Kevin Barnes (Of Montreal) playing additional bass on the song "Hey Big Star".[2]
