SoluCel
SoluCel was a biotech company located in Espoo, Finland, active 2006-2014. The company provides services to the pharmaceutical, fine chemical and biotech industries for discovery and production of plant based small molecules.[1]
History
The company was a spin-off from the Department of Plant Systems Biology of the Flanders Institute for Biotechnology (VIB). The company founders were Dirk Inzé from VIB and the University of Ghent and Kirsi-Marja Oksman-Caldentey of the Cell Factory Research Centre (VTT).
The company withdrew from business in 2014.[1]
