Smile Network International was founded in 2003 by Minnesota businesswoman, Kim Valentini. After 25 years in business and marketing, Kim left the corporate arena to do what she believes is her life’s work. What started as a five-hour-a-week project has turned into a global humanitarian organization. Smile Network International conducts surgical missions abroad and imparts dignity and quality of life to individuals whose medical needs may otherwise go untreated. Since 2003, Smile Network International has completed 60 missions and provided 3,000 free life-altering surgeries to children and adults in 11 countries (Mexico, Guatemala, Haiti, Ecuador, Peru. Armenia, Inda, Vietnam, Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya.
